Job description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join this UK leading financial services organisation. As a senior member of the team you will need experience of working in medium to large scale server environment, act as technical lead for the implementation and delivery IT solutions. You must be able to understand business requirements and transfer these to delivery of IT solutions. Good communication skills are essential.
You will need extensive experience of Cisco based LAN, WAN, VPN, layer 2 and layer 3 switching, routing, Cisco ASA, firewalls, and other network security technologies and best practices.
Some experience of managing and maintaining Microsoft infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Windows Network Load Balancing, and Windows Server Operating Systems is expected.
Experience of Nexus 1000v, IP based telephony, WAN Optimisation, Packet Shaping, HP / HDS FC SAN hardware would be of benefit.
CCNA, ITIL, MCSE, VCP qualifications are desirable.
