Job description:
Our client, a leading Facilities management provider, is currently looking to recruit a Bid Manager to join their award winning Bid team in the North West. The ideal candidate will have worked with in the facilities management arena, having successfully tendered for both Hard and Soft services contracts.
The key responsibilities for the Bid Manager will include:
• Providing professional and technical assistance to the Business Development teams
• Manage PQQ activity and overseeing qualification processes
• Manage tender preparation and response processes
• Pricing and estimating work and/or writing reports, responses and proposals
• Contributing to the design of the commercial bid strategy and solutions
• Developing and maintaining a central library of information and support material
• Making informed and commercially sound decisions, in line with the wider business objectives
The successful Bid Manager will:
• Possess a degree or be of degree calibre in a related discipline
• Have a good understanding of OJEU procurement process and the wider FM service procurement processes and procedures including all differing procurement vehicles that exist within the public and private sectors of FM
• Have demonstrable high level project management skills in managing multiple projects of a diverse nature,
• Have a broad, practical understanding and appreciation of operational activity
• Be fully conversant with all FM service line provisions
